About Us
Our Aims
Our organisation is based on the principal of enhancing a feeling of self-worth and value so that one can strive to achieve their full potential.

We provide education and support for children and young people of African-Caribbean descent who are at risk or are excluded from mainstream school.

We offer services for children, young people, parents and carers and those working with 'disaffected' children and young people.

Mission Statement

The Aswan Learning Centre aims to provide a positive environment where all concern in the care, well-being and education of children and young people are working in partnership to help:

To reduce and/or eradicate the number of excluded pupils, particularly of
African-Caribbean descent.

To eradicate racism and value diversity in schools and other settings.

To prevent disaffection and help to instil in children and young people a
feeling of self-worth identity.
